We gathered with multidisciplinary agency Platform 13 recognised for their authentic storytelling to produce a creator led content series,
The series is about giving young people the power and skills they need to make the internet a more positive place, tackles important subjects such free speech vs hate speech, the impact of online abuse, mental health, how to tackle online abuse and how to balance your life online and offline. Hosted by Amelia Dimoldenberg creator of Chicken Shop Date and features participants in each episode including singer Gracey, George The Poet and Ramz.
Series 1 comprised of five long form videos which complimented the existing BIC curriculum to give young people access to necessary skills for life on-line. Working with the directors and agency in a non-linear approach, Gather were able to utilise and adapt our production services to fit the project and client requirements, delivering long form content. Shooting in fixed locations, as well as with celebrities in public areas, Gather ensured there were the necessary health and safety and security elements in place for cast and crew.Collaborating on this impact project aligned perfectly with our core Gather beliefs, that meaningful content is grown from soil up and that starts with an inclusive team. Our crew and cast included representation from the Black & POC, LGBTQIA+, female and differently abled communities. Making this another Gather production in which the wider crew reflected the audiences the content was designed for.
